Christmas Break - December 2011


Well after another fantastic year on 435 Squadron its now time to have a rest. We shall be returning on Tuesday 10th January 2012.

Welcome to 435


The Air Training Corps is one of the largest youth organisations in Britain with a over 60,000 cadets. 435 (Newcastle) Squadron is one of 930 squadrons offering a wide range of exciting and challenging activities to young, outgoing people. Cadets belonging to 435 Squadron are faced with a wide and ever expanding catalogue of activities and events in which they can participate, ranging from target shooting and flying to sports and adventure training. Members of the ATC can work towards nationally recognised qualifications (such as the Duke of Edinburgh and BTEC Awards) and have many opportunities available to them to learn team building skills and increase their confidence.
